Raptors II hosted Our Lady's II in the MABL Division 2 with a team full of youth and promise. Young prospects Ben Chicken, Adam Robinson, Ethan Beech and Abbas were joined by more experienced players Ken Masser, Roger Fulton, Martyn Taylor, Jimmy Munday, John Lindsay, Dave Wright and Slabs.

Raptors got off to a terrific start behind some good scoring from John Lindsay and some excellent team play in which the Raptors offence sliced through the defence for some easy scores off great ball movement. The first quarter finished 24-9. By half time, the Raptors led by 22 and increased this lead further in the third with a terrififc quarter whch the Raptors won 37-13. In this quarter the younger players scored on fasat break after fast break, and Abbas scored his first basket for the senior team with a great crossover at the top of the key, drive down the key and classy finger roll lay-up. Ethan followed that up with a couple of strong plays inside including one terrifc baby hook.

Overall it was a terrific game that finished 94-42. The team spirit was excellent, as was thework rate of the whole team who together put on a great show.
