Raptors will "Continue to put on a show"

There were compliments aplenty from fans who attended the Raptors vs Giants game earlier in the week. Fans were not only impressed with the Raptors and the basketball action but fans both young and old enjoyed the entertainment put on during the game. Street dancers from Dance Like No-one's Watching led by Jo Entwistle consistently impressed the crowd, whilst Raptors Mascot Rozzy the Raptor brought a smile to the fans with his continuous antics.

The Raptors have improved their player entrances, sound and lighting display and look set to continue to put on fantastic family entertainment at each of the home games.

A club representative commented; "The basketball is obviously important, but we are committed to do our very best to put on a show for our fans. We want families from Rossendale to enjoy coming to our games and to return again and again. With the Street Dancers from DNLW, Rozzy the Raptor, kids competitions, players signing autographs and more we hope that we can provide a good night for both basketball fans and local families looking for a fun night out."

One fan commented: "I havent been to a basketball game before and dont know much about the game, but my children and I had a brilliant night. We will definitely be going to the next gam. This is the best family night out we've ever had in Rossendale - brilliant fun and great value."
