Following the teams loss at home to Huddersfield a week ago, the Raptors visited Telford hoping to stay top of the EBL Division 3 in a game against Shropshire Warriors. Raptors had no experience against their southern counterparts and coach Fry had little information regarding the Raptors opponents to organise a strategy. The Warriors were young and very athletic but there was also some signs that they were not as experienced as the Raptors team. With this in mind Raptors quickly established good shooting positions for Steve Gayle, Aitor Estrada and John Lindsay who capitalised with excellent shooting.
The hosts played well scoring some monumental 3 point shots and helped the home team surge into an 11 point lead early in the game. The Raptors changed their defence to compensate and looked to take away the Warriors long range shooting threats. As the game progressed the Raptors experience and depth of playing talent showed and the Raptors ran out winners by 89 - 67. Overall it was a good performance from the team against a Shropshire team that has a lot of talent and a lot of potential. Top scorers were Gayle 33 Lindsay 21 & Estrada 18.
